This dish is a Koivu twist on the traditional Fiskefrikadeller (Danish fish cakes). Nestled in a soft brioche bun which is topped with smoked chilli salt and nigella seeds, our succulent cod fish burger is adorned with homemade remoulade, lime pickled red onions, and home pickled dill gherkins. Accompanying this savoury delight is a side of crispy garlic smashed new potatoes, perfectly paired with dill sour cream and a drizzle of dill oil.
Heating instructions
The fish burger and smashed potatoes will arrive cooked and chilled. They will need to be reheated in a 180 celcius oven for 30 minutes in the containers they arrive in. The lettuce should be removed from the container as it does not need cooking.
The brioche roll will be unsliced to keep it fresh, and the remoulade, dill sauce, dill oil, pickled cucumbers and lime pickled red onions will be in separate containers so that you can build your burger the way you like it best.
